countrySKILLS is a program funded by the State Government of Tasmania in a response to try and meet the growing demand for seasonal labour around the State. countrySkills aims to assist growers to secure their labour needs, and to assist seasonal workers to access the work and other services such as transport and accomodation.

Job seekers, students, back packers, single parents, parents at home, retirees and others will be able to offer themselves for seasonal work in a range of areas, linking with countrySKILLS to plan out their work. This is the only dedicated service in the South of Tasmania offering this approach.
